Why LifeHacks Doc?
I am a physician on my life improvement journey. I believe that it's not too late to maximize one's quality of life at any given age or disease process, no matter how young or old. We do the best we can with the factors we CAN (not 'do') control. Living a lifestyle of self-care and preventative health to make life-style changes, can prevent many chronic diseases which ail us today.
I don't know how it happened or where to begin. It seemed like everything around me was falling apart. I needed to crawl out of the deep well I was falling in. Amid a sense of loss of control, the only thing I had power over was how I treat myself and how I nourish my body while my body, mind, and spirit were over-worked exhausted, burnt out and at the verge of giving up.
I only dared to change what was under my control and stop trying so hard and to stop beating myself up over not being good enough. It was time for self-care. I along with my family, was suffering in every domain of existence. I needed to intervene and change the trajectory of my health. I know it's easier said than done. I have been on this journey of self-care since 2018, and I would like to share with you my learnings along the way and hope that you are inspired to take care of yourself too. This site is the hub to my self-coping mechanisms. I hope you find some ideas (Life hacks) useful.
